Groundskeeper

This seasonal groundskeeper position runs now through mid-November at several school buildings. You will handle weed eating, edging, and blowing the exterior grounds. Pay is between $16.00 and $20.00 per hour, determined by verified past work experience. You must hold a valid Indiana driver's license and pass an Indiana criminal background check.

• Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, possibly Saturday and Sunday, depending on applicant availability and need

Key Duties

• Operate string trimmers (weed eaters) around fences, walls, and trees.
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, and parking lots for a clean finish.
• Blow grass clippings and debris off walkways, steps, and entryways.
• Maintain a safe and clean look around all school exterior areas.
• Report any property damage or hazards to the supervisor.

Job Rules

• Able to work outdoors in various weather types.
• Able to lift heavy gear and stand for long times.
