Essential Responsibilities What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for feline patients, including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, treatment planning, and surgery
  • Lead by example, helping establish and maintain the highest standards of feline medicine and patient care
  • Mentor and support associate veterinarians through collaboration, coaching, and professional development
  • Partner with hospital leadership to support medical excellence, practice performance, and team success
  • Build lasting client relationships through preventive care education, treatment recommendations, and compassionate end-of-life guidance
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports exceptional patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and medical standards
Requirements
  • Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
