Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are seeking a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist in Rice County, Minnesota, to support the organization's mission of enhancing wildlife habitat through conservation programs. This position will work in joint capacity with USDA-NRCS and other partners to promote, implement, and coordinate enrollment in conservation provisions of the Federal Farm Bill and related programs, helping strengthen working lands conservation across the region.
Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and guidance to private landowners, government agencies, non-government organizations, and other groups through federal Farm Bill programs.
- Prepare conservation plans, implementation requirements, status reviews, wildlife habitat evaluation guides, activity reports, and other relevant work products and documents requiring biological expertise.
