Associate Veterinarian (ER) – Wilder, KY
A veterinary emergency practice is seeking a dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative and supportive team. This opportunity is available for full-time, part-time, or relief veterinarians interested in providing high-quality care for urgent and critical cases. The practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical resources and provides an environment focused on teamwork, professional development, and quality patient care.
What You’ll Do- Provide emergency and critical care for a variety of cases
- Perform examinations, diagnostics, and appropriate treatments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Utilize available diagnostic and medical equipment
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and recommendations with clients
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Participate in case discussions, training, and continuing education
- Contribute to clinical protocols and best practices
- Maintain high standards of patient care and client service
- DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Emergency or critical care experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
