The Advanced Veterinary Care Center (AVCC) in Davie, Florida is offering a one year internship in small animal emergency/critical care. Emphasis is on clinical training in preparation for a residency training program or a successful career in emergency/critical care medicine. Interns will work with a team of board-certified specialists (emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, neurology and cardiology) and experienced emergency doctors.
They will participate in all aspects of our busy clinical practice, now located in a new state-of-the-art 19,000 square foot facility. We spend a lot of one-on-one time with our interns and take a personal interest in their success. We are non-corporate, highly collaborative, and growing! Schedule, salary, and benefits are highly competitive.
- A DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college or university.
- Proficiency in English.
- At least 2 letters of recommendations from qualified veterinarians.
- US citizenship, permanent US resident with green card, or Canadian/Mexican citizen with TN visa.
