Pet Vet Care Centers' Westside Animal Emergency Clinic is currently seeking PRN Veterinary Receptionists (Care Coordinators) to join their team!

Position Overview

Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.

Westside Animal Emergency Clinic in Lithia Springs, Georgia, is a dedicated emergency veterinary hospital providing after-hours and critical care services. With a highly trained team and a fast-paced environment, they deliver urgent, life‑saving care when pets need it most.

  • are chill and able to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment both independently and as a team member
  • are self‑motivated and detail oriented, but also work cohesively with our amazingly fantastic staff and DVMs
  • like double time pay on major holidays
  • are computer literate with strong typing skills
  • able to lift 40+ pounds (and enjoy bragging rights on being able to lift heavier dogs than some of our other staff and DVMs)
  • enjoy friendly holiday themed competitions
  • have your own dependable transportation
  • and of course, you should absolutely love cats and dogs!
Responsibilities (day‑to‑day activities, but are not limited to)
  • greeting and welcoming Owners and patients
  • ability to recognize life threatening symptoms for immediate triage
  • answering multi‑line phone system with a cheerful demeanor
  • teaching the Thriller dance
  • checking in/out clients
  • assisting Techs and DVMS
  • data entry
  • organized and detail‑oriented filing
  • offering compassion and understanding towards Owners in emergency setting
  • holding patients for exams, procedures, x‑rays and comfort
  • handling of monies & taking payments
  • have great aim for Nerf gun wars
  • scanning/faxing/emailing records to RDVMs/Specialists
  • running lab work
  • helping to maintain a clean and healthy environment

Compensation will be based on experience and skill level.

Job Type: Part‑time & Full‑time positions available

Scheduled hours will include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

We are not open 24/7

We are only open nights, weekends, & holidays

Yearly scrub allowance for Full‑Time and Part‑Time positions
