Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Richmond, VA, formerly known as Dogwood Veterinary Center, is hiring Emergency Veterinarians.

Our pet hospital serves central Virginia communities such as Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and Petersburg providing specialty and emergency services. When pets need emergency care, seconds count. And if a veterinary specialist is needed, we are ready for that too. Our 20,000-square-foot hospital underwent a full remodel of the ICU and reception entrance completed in summer 2022. The remodel of the ICU now houses a brand-new CT (64 slice). The hospital also houses an on-site MRI and a full complement of orthopedic, laparoscopic, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopic surgical equipment. Our internal medicine service with state-of-the-art endoscopy, ultrasound, and complete ancillary radiographic diagnostic capabilities.

The sprawling metropolitan area is home to both world‑class restaurants and little‑known, but well‑loved cafes and diners. Kayaking, biking, walking trails, Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Richmond, and numerous museums are other great reasons to enjoy Richmond.

Want to get out of the city for a while? Its proximity to Virginia Beach, The Outer Banks, Washington DC, Charlottesville, and the Blue Ridge Mountains make for easy day trips, or weekend getaways.
