Join Our Team as a Passionate Mixed Animal Veterinarian or Small Animal Veterinarian in the Breathtaking Rocky Mountains of Colorado!

Western Slope Animal Hospital has 2 locations to better serve our area. One in Olathe Colorado and one in Delta Colorado.

We have 3 full time and 1 part time veterinarians, 5 receptionists, 2 certified veterinary technitians, and 5 veterinary assistants. We are a privately owned veterinary practice that is searching for a dedicated mixed animal or small animal veterinarian to become an integral part of our exceptional team.

Located in the heart of the captivating 'Uncompahgre Valley,' Olathe and Delta offer a wealth of delights, including wineries, breweries, delightful restaurants, and charming local boutiques. But that's not all—the surrounding mesas unveil a scenic wonderland where you can indulge in Colorado's finest skiing, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and thrilling white water rafting. As a bonus, you'll have convenient access to the renowned Telluride Ski area and the majestic Black Canyon!

Since our establishment in 2004, Western Slope Animal Hospital has embodied a family-oriented atmosphere that focuses on mixed animal care. Our practice encompasses 75% small animals and 25% large animals, including horses, cattle, and small ruminants.

The Olathe location boasts three examination rooms, a comprehensive dental and surgical suite, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, dental and digital radiology capabilities, ultrasound technology, laser therapy, and 2 fully-stocked ambulatory trucks, we provide top-notch medical and surgical services.

The Delta location also has a fully equipped in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, 2 exam rooms and a large surgical suite.

In addition to joining our exceptional team, you'll enjoy a competitive starting salary of $120,000 or 20% of gross, whichever is higher, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

This package includes DEA licensure, Coloarado Licensure, three weeks of paid time off, $2,000 continuing education allowance as well as 3 days paid time for CE, state, PLIT coverage, professional organization membership, and health insurance stipend.
