We are a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, 26,000 sq ft specialty and emergency hospital located at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Our state-of-the­art facility includes a 2,500 sq ft ICU featuring Snyder units and high-flow oxygen therapy, designed to support our most critical patients. We also offer a newly expanded, four-suite surgery center and an on-site blood bank to support advanced procedures and trauma care.

Additional highlights include specialty procedure suites, a full imaging center with CT, and cutting‑edge technology such as 4D echocardiography, fluoroscopy, laparoscopy, and laser therapy.

As a vital member of our Oncology team, you'll play a hands‑on role in diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer in veterinary patients, utilizing advanced therapies including surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized treatments. You'll develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, collaborate closely with primary care veterinarians and our multidisciplinary team, and communicate compassionately with pet owners throughout their pet's cancer journey.

You'll build and manage a diverse oncology caseload, utilize state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and treatment technology, and contribute to the continued growth of our oncology service through education, collaboration, and exceptional patient care. • Provide advanced oncology care in accordance with ACVIM guidelines, establishing and managing a strong caseload while delivering compassionate, ethical, and high‑quality patient care.
• Collaborate with specialists, emergency doctors, technicians, referring veterinarians, and clients to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure comprehensive care and follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, treatment plans, and client estimates while balancing each patient’s medical needs with the client’s financial considerations.
• Lead, mentor, and support oncology technicians and technician assistants while actively participating in hospital rounds, department meetings, team‑building activities, and continuing education.
• Contribute to the growth of the Oncology service through community outreach, Lunch & Learns, marketing events, and ongoing relationship‑building with referring veterinary practices.

Required:

• Colorado Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) License.
• Board Certification through ACVIM.
• Registration with DORA.
• AVMA PLIT Insurance.
• DEA License.

Specialty doctors are expected to work 4 x 10‑hour shifts alongside their department medical team. Hours and days dependent on case load and overall needs of the hospital. Further schedule details will be discussed and outlined in the contract for employment agreement.
