What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Check clients and patients in and out while ensuring information is complete and accurate
  • Answer and manage a multi‑line phone system calmly and efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and help maintain an organized hospital calendar
  • Manage client and patient records accurately
  • Process invoices and collect payments
  • Communicate hospital information, policies, and next steps clearly to clients
  • Respond to client questions with compassion and professionalism
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to support efficient patient flow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks and medical record requests as needed
  • Jump in and help the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
