** What You'll Do
** You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment:
* Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
* Manage outpatient and hospitalized emergency cases
* Perform emergency procedures including centeses, CPR, wound repair, and stabilization
* Interpret diagnostics including laboratory work, radiographs, and point-of-care ultrasound (AFAST/TFAST)
* Communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians
* Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff on complex cases
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records

** Requirements
* ** DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
* Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland
* Prior emergency medicine experience required
* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to participate in a shared weekend rotation
** Schedule
* ** Combination of day, swing, and overnight shifts
* Shared weekend rotation
