Associate Veterinarian independently-owned AAHA-accredited practice in Southeastern PA

We are looking for a full and/or part time veterinarian to join us in serving the community by providing excellent, compassionate veterinary care. We pride ourselves on nurturing long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Hopewell Veterinary Hospital has over 70 years of history serving the community, located in a historic former farmhouse in a suburban setting just outside of Philadelphia. We recently completed an extensive renovation and expansion. We are ready and looking forward to continuing to serve the community for many years into the future. We have a new, light-filled, modern reception area to greet our clients and patients.

Patients are seen in new and remodeled exam rooms including one with a door that leads directly to the parking area. Our hospital has an imaging suite for digital radiography and ultrasound and a new, dedicated dental suite. The imaging suite, surgery and dental suite all connect directly to our treatment room, which also houses our in-house laboratory and serves as a clinical hub for the hospital.

We use electronic medical records, and AI-assisted scribing is available. Our in-house pharmacy carries a wide range of medications and includes plenty of counter space for preparing prescriptions. Near the pharmacy we have several comfortable work spaces for technicians, veterinarians and managers. When taking a break, our staff can take advantage of a completely separate lounge area that includes a full kitchen.

Our team includes certified veterinary technicians, experienced technical assistants, and dedicated customer service staff. We have a great mix of knowledgeable, experienced staff who have been a part of Hopewell for many years and eager new staff who bring fresh ideas and perspectives.

A veterinarian who is dedicated to skillful medical care, thoughtful in communication with clients, and eager to be a part of a great team. We are open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

• Hours are flexible, full or part-time. A full-time, 4 day a week schedule is possible. Saturday hours (8am-1pm) are shared (one per month). We do not have overnight or Sunday hours.
• Mentoring is available to newer veterinarians. All our doctors enjoy collaboration on medical cases.

You can you can take the train into historic center city Philadelphia to enjoy museums, concerts and cheer on all the Philly sports teams! It’s an easy day trip to ski or hike in the Pocono mountains, visit New York City or spend time at the Jersey shore!
