Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills- Veterinary technician, licensure preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of clinical experience
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (SAVES) Center is a 24/7 emergency and specialty center located in Fayetteville, Georgia, focusing on strong referral relationships and providing emergency and specialty services to the Southern Atlanta community.
Our hospital has a fast-paced, team-first environment where empathy drives every decision and joy shows up even on the hardest shifts. We serve a diverse client base of emergency walk-ins and specialty referrals who trust us with their pets during some of the most critical moments of their lives. We are open 24/7 for emergency services and by appointment for specialty departments, serving the Southern Atlanta community.
You’re Willing And Able To- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments
- Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
