Provide veterinary care to small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries
Conduct examinations, take medical histories, and develop treatment plans for patients
Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide after-care instructions to clients
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients and their pets, providing educational resources and support
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine, and participate in continuing education and training
Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care and services
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico or willing to acquire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software
Work in a mobile veterinary clinic, traveling to client's homes or farms to provide care(optional)
Work in our hospital to provide quality medical care
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing
Competitive salary and benefits package (up to $200,000 combined based on experience, Full-Time vs. Part-Time)
