Beacon Emergency Veterinary Hospital is a veterinarian-owned, independently operated 24/7 emergency veterinary group with three hospitals across Tampa Bay. We are currently looking for another veterinarian to join our Riverview or Land O’ Lakes team. We are open to experienced ER veterinarians, strong general practitioners looking to transition into emergency medicine, and motivated new graduates with the clinical foundation and drive to grow into strong emergency doctors.

• Approximately 11 to 13 shifts per month, with scheduling built collaboratively around sustainability and work-life balance

Our doctors see a broad emergency and critical care caseload and have the equipment and team support needed to practice high-level medicine. Both Riverview and Land O’ Lakes are fully equipped 24/7 emergency hospitals offering:

• Blood products, antivenom, and a fully stocked emergency pharmacy
• Complete in-house laboratory with digital cytology
• Digital radiography with board-certified radiologist interpretation
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• CT imaging with boarded radiologist interpretation
• Fully equipped surgical suites with cautery, Liga Sure, and TA/GA staplers
• Collaboration with boarded specialists on advanced cases
• Experienced nursing teams trained in emergency and critical care

Our hospitals also offer a strong surgical and procedural caseload. Doctors who enjoy emergency surgery, procedures, and critical care will have plenty of opportunity to use those skills, while doctors interested in developing them further will have support to do so.
