#### Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farm Assistant for a well-established row crop farming operation. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a dependable, trustworthy individual who enjoys equipment operation, irrigation, maintenance, and the variety of responsibilities involved in a large farming operation. The operation consists of approximately 4,000 acres of corn and soybeans, with approximately 25 center pivots.

The farm utilizes modern equipment, including Fendt tractors and a 24-row planter, and has a large, heated shop for equipment maintenance and repair. The employer is looking for a dependable, trustworthy individual with a good farm background who can operate a tractor, drive truck, and is willing to learn. While broader equipment experience is certainly a plus, the employer is willing to train the right person on equipment or responsibilities they may not have previous experience with.

This individual will assist with planting and harvest, irrigation pivots, general farm duties, and equipment maintenance. Mechanical aptitude is important. During the winter months, this individual will spend time in the shop assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs and preparing machinery for the upcoming growing season. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate tractors and farm equipment
* Drive truck as needed throughout the operation
* Assist with planting, harvest, and other seasonal fieldwork
* Monitor and maintain center pivot irrigation systems
* Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs
* Perform winter shop work and help prepare equipment for the upcoming season
* Assist with general farm maintenance and day to day operational needs
* Learn to operate additional equipment as needed
* Opportunity to learn planter, combine, drill, and sprayer operation
* Work closely with the owner and other employees to keep the operation running efficiently####

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Farm background with tractor operating experience
* Ability to drive truck
* Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with equipment maintenance
* Irrigation/pivot experience helpful, but not required
* Sprayer/application experience a plus, but not required
* Broader equipment experience a plus, but employer is willing to train
* Dependable and trustworthy
* Willing and able to learn new equipment and responsibilities
* Strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility during planting, harvest, and other peak farming seasons
* Long term employment mindset#### SALARY / BENEFITS:* $55,000-$60,000, depending on experience
