We are well staffed and always re-evaluating our staffing needs as we continue to grow. Valley View Animal Hospital offers comprehensive small animal medical services across a wide schedule, including Urgent Care available Monday through Saturday from noon to 10 PM. We are a well-equipped hospital, with the tools to provide excellent care. We have in-house laboratory machines (CBC, Chemistry, Sedivue, Invue Dx, aPTT/PTT), an electrosurgery unit, as well as a well-stocked pharmacy both in clinic and online through Vet Cove.

We have digital radiography and all of our radiographs are sent out for review. We also work with local radiologists for in-clinic diagnostic ultrasounds and have our own ultrasound unit for cystocentesis and FAST scans. We currently have 3 full time doctors and are looking to complete our team with a fourth full time DVM. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable working independently for the majority of their shifts. This position will have one dedicated surgery day per week, along with one GP shift and two urgent care shifts per week. Urgent care hours are 12-10pm and general practice hours are 8am-6pm.

Every surgery day is dedicated to surgery only, so no more rushing to finish that complicated dental while appointments wait in exam rooms. Surgical mentorship is available, but a willingness to learn procedures and confidence in working independently is imperative.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
