Small Animal Veterinarian Position

Millerstown Veterinary Associates is a mixed animal practice in Millerstown, Pennsylvania. It is a rural area that has the benefit of a small community within a short drive to Harrisburg and State College. We currently have 4 full- time mixed animal doctors and 3 full-time small animal doctors. We have recently built new facilities to accommodate our growing small animal business.

Doctors would have access to Idexx Procyte Hematology, Catalyst Chemistry, UA Sedivue, and Invue cytology machines. We have invested in a new digital radiology system, ultrasound, and dental equipment.

Both recent (and upcoming) graduates and experienced veterinarians willbe considered. Salary commiserate on experience. Paid vacation, CE, professional liability, and health insurance provided. No on call expected at this time. We work closely with 3 emergency clinics within 30 minutes to an hour drive of our practice.

The new associate will be expected to perform routine surgeries and perform wellness and sick animal exams. We value teamwork among our doctors. We like to foster a collaborative environment that promotes good working relationships among our team. We are willing to foster individual interests with mentorship and continuing education. Because of our strong sense of community in Millerstown, client communication is important to us.
