Job description:

We’re hiring Lawn Care/Landscape Crew Members at Tuff’s Lawn & Landscape! We offer a competitive wage with additional compensation/benefits and room for advancement. Experience is preferred, but we will train candidates who are willing to learn! Candidates should be self-motivated, driven to provide an excellent finished product, and hard working. It’s essential to be a team player and have a positive attitude.

Compensation:

$21.00+ starting pay DOE
$25.00 monthly cell phone stipend.
Bonus opportunities for reliable attendance.

Paid membership fee to direct primary healthcare clinic (covers most routine healthcare visits!)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mowing, trimming, weed eating, fertilizing, aerating, and dethatching lawns.
Operating and maintaining power equipment and tools
Pruning, weed pulling, raking leaves, lawn clean ups.
Ground prep, paver installs, sprinkler repairs, sprinkler installations, digging, laying sod, picking rocks.
General labor tasks as assigned.
Communicate and work well with team members and customers.
Work in all weather, hot or cold, rain or shine.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Use technology to report work hours or log in to apps for specific jobs.
Opportunities for employees with good performance to build into more advanced positions (driver/crew leader/crew foreman/technician).

Schedule/hours (all positions):

During the busy season we work 40-50 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5x normal hourly wage. General business hours are Mon – Sat, starting between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Daily schedule is route-based, and end time varies. Possible winter work for snow removal and equipment maintenance.

Minimum Requirements (all positions):

Valid driver’s license
Able to meet physical demands of position including lifting up to 75 lbs.
Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
