Veterinarian - Spindale, NC

Hinkle’s Pet Hospital in Spindale, NC is looking for a veterinarian to join our experienced and collaborative team. Proudly serving Rutherford County and the surrounding community, our practice offers a diverse caseload, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Our standalone, 4,000-square-foot hospital features four exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, treatment area, full-service grooming, and a 73-cage boarding facility currently undergoing renovations.

Our Hospital Offers:

• A diverse caseload of approximately 90% small animal and 10% exotics
• Orthopedic surgery, exotic medicine, and reproductive services
• Therapeutic laser, digital and mobile X-ray, Cryo, stem-cell therapy, Phovia therapy, dental equipment, and more
• Approximately 20 patients per doctor each day, with varying appointment times for wellness and sick
• No after-hours or on-call requirements
• A team committed to community outreach, including relationships with Animal Control, Paws of Rutherford County, and the Humane Society
• Team outings and a welcoming, community-minded culture

New graduates are encouraged to apply! We offer structured mentorship that gradually builds confidence—from shadowing during the first week to vaccine appointments, sick-patient examinations, and eventually navigating emergencies. Experienced veterinarians and those interested in part-time opportunities are also welcome.
