$19–$24/hour (DOE)

Veterinary Assistants are essential to our hospital. In this role, you’ll support doctors, connect with clients, and help ensure every patient receives exceptional care.

You’ll also be part of a collaborative team that values growth, learning, and a positive culture.

• Assist doctors and technicians with procedures and surgeries
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
• Support preventative, sick, and injury visits
• Safely handle and restrain animals
• Collect and document patient histories in medical records
• Assist with anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Maintain surgical suites, instruments, and equipment
• Restock and organize medical supplies

• 1+ year of veterinary or human medical experience preferred
• Comfortable using computers (EMR systems, email, basic programs)
• Strong technical and clinical skills
• Excellent communication with clients and team members
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Able to lift/restrain pets up to 40 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
