AVSG/VSSOC is growing, and we are excited to welcome experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians to ourteam.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Board‑Certified Criticalists, Surgeons, Internists, and Emergency Clinicians
, supported by a highly skilled, collaborative team of RVTs and veterinary assistants dedicated to outstanding patient care.
- Surgery & Anesthesia
- Part Time and Relief available
- Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Diagnostic imaging assistance and basic interpretation (radiographs, ultrasound support)
- Anesthesia monitoring (vitals, depth assessment, adjustments)
- Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ, CRIs)
- Fluid therapy setup and maintenance
- Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
- Patient monitoring (vitals, pain scoring, trend recognition)
- Nursing care for hospitalized patients (nutrition, wound care, hygiene)
- Registered Veterinary Technician required
- 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
- Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
- Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients
- A craving for lifelong learning and continuous improvements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

- Compensation
- $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Surgery RVTs receive $500 for each completed surgery for on-call shifts
