you’ll work closely with board-certified surgeons and other specialty professionals on a fascinating and rewarding caseload that includes:

• orthopedic surgery
• soft tissue surgery
• advanced imaging (ct and mri)
• complex anesthesia cases
• specialty patient care and recovery

• assist board-certified surgeons during procedures and patient care
• monitor anesthesia using advanced multi-parameter equipment
• perform laboratory procedures and prepare outside laboratory samples
• obtain patient histories, weights, and vital signs
• provide exceptional nursing care for hospitalized patients
• assist with patient admissions, transfers, recoveries, and discharges
• support ct and mri procedures
• deliver compassionate, professional client communication
• maintain treatment areas, equipment, and inventory

• current maryland licensed veterinary technician credential
• associate degree in veterinary technology from an accredited program
• minimum 5 years of veterinary experience
• specialty, surgery, anesthesia, or advanced nursing experience strongly preferred
• ct and mri experience preferred but not required
• strong communication and critical thinking skillsability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty environment
• passion for providing exceptional patient care
• positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

vts (anesthesia) and vts (surgery) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
