** Seeking a Lab Tech to join a company in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Key Responsibilities
* ** Sample Management:
** Receive, label, sort, and store biological samples, chemical substances, or industrial materials.
* ** Testing and Analysis:
** Perform routine and diagnostic tests following strict safety and operational protocols.
* ** Equipment Maintenance:
** Set up, clean, sterilize, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
* ** Data Recording:
** Record precise test results, log daily activities, and enter findings into computer databases.
* ** Safety and Compliance:
** Adhere to health, safety, and quality-control guidelines (such as OSHA or ISO standards) at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

** Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry or other science related major.
* ** Attention to Detail:
** High accuracy is needed to avoid cross-contamination or incorrect test data.

** Comfortable operating automated analyzers, microscopes, and lab software.

** Ability to log notes clearly and report abnormal findings to senior staff.
