Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Midway, KY

Shift: 2nd shift Mon-Fri 4:00 pm - 12:30 am (Overtime is mandatory)

Pay: $15.50 per hour

• Quality inspecting of headliners for vehicles
• Performing quality inspections on products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Aid in the development of corrective and preventive actions for internal and external quality concerns
• Support customer quality systems initiatives
• Assist Quality Engineers with customer and supplier quality concerns as needed
• Understand the overall quality specifications and standards
• Follow process control and inspection procedures
• Encourage making recommendations for system improvements
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes
• Read gauges and measuring tools
• Stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment
• General problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to train team members on quality requirements
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must comply with the client’s substance abuse & background policy
• Must have a steady work history
• Must have general knowledge of automotive quality standards (ISO 9001)
• Must have experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Must have basic computer skills in Word and Excel
• Must wear steel‑toed shoes
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
