About the TeamYou’ll join a collaborative, customer-focused quality team dedicated to driving product excellence from design through production, working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. The team is committed to continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, and delivering high‑quality solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Participate in the development of Process and Design FMEAs.
- Recommend design and manufacturing method changes to new products.
- Perform technical support and analyses to resolve product problems as they occur in the manufacturing process.
- Work with customer warranty and quality personnel to analyze, track, and troubleshoot defective returned parts.
- Improve customer satisfaction by investigating customer complaints, proposing improvements, and validating corrective actions.
- Lead the resolution of repetitive or customer claims with root cause analysis and LLC at suppliers (for warranty and merchandised goods).
- Ensure conclusion of Quality Assurance Agreements (QAAs) for all assigned suppliers in cooperation with Commodity Buyers.
- Lead all necessary tasks of the CQP including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP, particularly warehouse or manufacturing modules, preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in core automotive quality standards and tools, including APQP, PPAP (AIAG), PPA (VDA
2), SPC, MSA, FMEA, and root cause analysis methods (8D, Pareto, Fault Tree Analysis). - Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 19011.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management (PLM), Product Safety Act requirements, and process documentation (work instructions, control plans).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measurement/control equipment, along with strong MS Office skills.
