Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, HACCP, CGMP, and other applicable industry standards, ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met
  • Manage quality assurance and control activities, including audits, inspections, testing, validation, PPAP approvals, PFMEAs, control plans, and process flow documentation for plastic injection molded automotive components
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality metrics and KPIs (PPM, scrap rates, defects, and customer complaints), identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Lead root cause investigations, resolve non-conformities, and address customer quality concerns through effective problem-solving and sustainable corrective action plans
  • Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce defects, improve product quality, and enhance customer quality performance
  • Supervise, train, and develop Quality Engineers and staff, promoting quality best practices, regulatory compliance, safety standards, and alignment with company quality objectives
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in quality management within manufacturing environments, preferably in plastics injection molding and automotive industries
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and standard operating procedures, with the ability to maintain compliance and drive quality excellence
  • Proven expertise in conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing effective quality systems across complex production operations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root‑cause analysis skills, with experience developing corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance
  • Effective leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across cross‑functional teams
