THE ROLE
As Senior Analyst, Supplier Quality
, you will be responsible for the evaluation, monitoring, and improvement of the quality performance of the organization’s external manufacturing and supply base. You will play a critical part in the quality aspects of new product launches by ensuring suppliers meet all technical, regulatory, and customer requirements during product introduction. You will support monitoring key supplier quality metrics and help resolve supplier-related issues.
As a cross functional business partner, you will collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive supplier readiness, reduce risk, and ensure successful project execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with product development teams to ensure quality is driven into the product and manufacturing process at early stages of product development
Ensure that pre-commercialization quality activities are completed by actively participating in project teams, project reviews, and other forums
Support manufacturing and supplier‑related quality activities for new product introductions, including Engineering trials, Qualification trials, and establishing related quality success criteria
Plan and participate in the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) audit program for suppliers and External Manufacturers (EM) for North America
Partner with Procurement to collect supplier data, support onboarding processes, and assist with basic supplier risk evaluations
Monitor incoming material quality, perform root‑cause analysis, and support resolution of supplier‑related nonconformances
Investigate External Manufacturer and supplier nonconformances using structured problem‑solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone)
Follow up with External Manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely submission of corrective action documentation
Ensure documentation meets internal quality system requirements and relevant standards
Use statistical tools (e.g., Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Capability Index (Cpk) / Process Performance Index (Ppk) studies) to support decision‑making and monitor process stability
Collect and summarize supplier defect data and assist with trend analysis
Analyze supplier quality trends, defect modes, and process capability to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities
Maintain Supplier Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate performance trends to leadership
Prepare presentations, charts, and reports for internal reviews and supplier communication
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations, to drive supplier readiness, reduce risk, and ensure successful project execution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process) or a related technical field
1+ years of relevant quality experience
