Quality Technician

Seeking a Quality Technician to join a company in Eminence, KY.

The Quality Technician supports daily quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspections, testing, documentation, audits, and quality improvement efforts to ensure products and processes meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform gauge calibration and verification activities.
  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Review inspection results and maintain quality records, reports, and certifications.
  • Perform a variety of testing and inspection activities, including dimensional measurements, hardness testing, tensile testing, conductivity testing, CMM inspection, and GD&T evaluations.
  • Execute sampling plans and support laboratory testing functions.
  • Assist with material inspection, sorting, and disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Support corrective action investigations and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in 6S, TPM, and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Assist with training, work instructions, and quality-related documentation.
  • Perform additional quality and laboratory support activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement equipment, and quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to accurately document and communicate test results and inspection findings.

Work Environment

  • Onsite position in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Regular exposure to production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, inspect products, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
