Sr. Performance Tester

Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: 65-75/hr

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 7 years of Java application testing
• 7 years of Jmeter or Blazemeter (we are using Blazemeter as the base tool in the company)
• 5 years of Selenium
• 7+ years of experience in Performance Testing of Java-based applications and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or Blaze Meter (7+ years) for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• 5+ years of experience with Selenium for test automation and regression testing.
• Proven experience in test case design, test script development, test execution, and results analysis.
• Strong understanding of application performance metrics, bottleneck identification, and performance tuning.
• Experience analyzing JVM, application server, database, and infrastructure performance.
• Ability to create performance test strategies, test plans, and performance reports.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

• ADA Compliance application testing (front of the line)
• Playwright (front of the line)
• AI agent assisted development testing (Copilot/Devin)
• 1+ year of experience using Git Hub Copilot, Devin, or other AI-assisted development/testing tools (AI Agents).
• Experience testing and validating applications for ADA (Accessibility) compliance.
• 1+ year of experience with Playwright for modern web application automation.
• 1+ year of experience writing and optimizing SQL Server queries for test data preparation, validation, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
