SHEPARD STEEL in Connecticut seeks an experienced AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support quality control in our Structural Steel Division. You will inspect fabrication for conformance to project specs and shop drawings, perform in-process and final inspections, and ensure products are built correctly before shipment.
You will apply AWS D1.1/D1.5, AISC practices, develop welding procedure specifications, administer welder qualification testing, and maintain records.
