Works with inspection lab assisting with projects on all different levels throughout program.

• Evaluate component and assembly drawings, plan inspection procedure.
• Prepare documentation for recording inspection results.
• Program CMM (Zeiss Calypso) roundness gage, profilometer, contour reader and other inspection equipment.
• Provide “first piece” inspection data for prototype machinist and technicians
• Perform inspections of components and/or assemblies to ISO / ANSI standards.
• Assist / support additional Magna facilities as required.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration compliance.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Strong math skills.
• Print reading with GD&T understanding to ISO / ANSI Standards Understand the basics of engineering theory and principles of design.
• Working knowledge in computer-based software.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Practice and maintain integrity while following Magna’s Charter and Constitution. Follow Magna’s Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (IATF 16949). Drive the development of new technologies to improve quality, efficiency and reduce cost. Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure duties of self are performed in a safe manner.

• Understand applicable Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures in the workplace.

• Comply with requirements for the use or operation of machines or equipment.
• Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
