Position: QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR – Romulus, MI
Location: Northern

Wage & Shifts
:

  • $25.00 -$27.00 per hour + shift premium
  • B-Shift: Monday to Friday: 6:00pm to 2:30am

Required Skills & Abilities
:

  • Proven experience in a quality supervisory or lead role, preferably within the automotive or logistics industry.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of quality control methodologies and industrial regulations.
  • Leadership:
    Strong ability to guide teams and enforce standards with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
  • Communication:
    Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings to executive management. Proficient at speaking, writing, reading and comprehending English.
  • Preferred Certification:
    Prior experience with IATF 16949 standards is highly preferred and considered a significant plus.

Responsibilities
:

  • Quality System Management:
    Oversee the creation, implementation, and enforcement of quality alerts to ensure immediate response to production variances.
  • Compliance & Auditing:

    Conduct regular internal audits and ensure strict adherence to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Lead the creation and enforcement of 5S standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Product Integrity:

    Supervise the inspection and testing of products to guarantee all customer specifications and quality benchmarks are met.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Identify and address recurring quality issues; perform root-cause analysis and present detailed findings and corrective action plans to the management team.
  • Team Leadership:

    Guide and mentor employees on company quality standards, ensuring a high level of competency across the floor.
  • Documentation:

    Maintain comprehensive training records and quality logs to ensure audit readiness at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
