Location:
Willis, TX
Pay: $75,000–$95,000
We’re looking for a hands‑on Quality Engineer with strong manufacturing experience who can support customer issues, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor. This role works closely with customers, production, and engineering to resolve quality concerns, analyze data, and strengthen overall plant performance. Ideal candidates bring solid mechanical drawing/GD&T knowledge, strong quality core tool experience, and a track record of solving complex quality problems in fast‑paced environments.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer quality concerns, claims, and requests
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality investigations
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Support sorting, containment, and inspection activities
- Maintain accurate quality records and reporting
- Participate in internal audits and support compliance with ISO/IATF standards
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years in manufacturing quality
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Strong GD&T and mechanical drawing knowledge
- Experience with ISO standards and quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
