Role Overview

April Housing, a portfolio company of Blackstone Real Estate and one of the largest owners/operators of affordable housing (LIHTC) in the United States, is hiring an Associate for its Investments group in Los Angeles, initially focused on the disposition workstream.

• Execute dispositions: initial underwriting, marketing, diligence coordination, and negotiation support through closing
• Perform financial modeling, valuation, and hold-sell analysis to support investment decisions
• Prepare internal approval materials, investment memoranda, and transaction summaries
• Coordinate with buyers, brokers, partners, and third-party advisors
• Apply Section 42 / LIHTC structuring knowledge to transaction analysis; navigate complex partnership consent processes
• Support pipeline tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc portfolio analyses; able to pivot between dispositions and acquisitions

• Bachelor's degree in finance, math, economics, real estate, accounting, engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of real estate transaction experience, exposure to affordable housing strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; working knowledge of LIHTC structures a plus
