Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Northern

Description:
About Us We are a locally owned and operated property management company that takes pride in providing dependable, personal service to both our residents and property owners. We manage a growing portfolio of residential rental properties and believe good property management starts with strong relationships, clear communication, and respect for people. We are a small, hands-on team where everyone pitches in, and individual contributions matter.

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated individual to join us and help prospective residents find a place they are proud to call home. The Position:
The Leasing Professional is often the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays an important role throughout the entire leasing process—from the initial inquiry and property tour through application, move-in, renewal, and ongoing resident communication. This is a mobile, hands-on leasing position. Our properties are located throughout the local area, and regular travel between properties is required to conduct tours, meet prospective residents, perform inspections, and assist with property needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, takes initiative, and appreciates being part of a locally owned company where good work gets noticed. What You’ll Be Doing Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, text, and online platforms in a friendly and timely manner. Show available homes and apartments to prospective residents. Conduct property tours, showings, and occasional open houses.

Follow up with prospective residents and maintain an organized leasing pipeline. Process rental applications, verify required information, and coordinate screening and background checks. Prepare lease agreements and ensure all leasing paperwork is accurate and completed on time. Explain lease terms, policies, move-in requirements, and community expectations to residents. Coordinate move-ins and help create a positive experience for new residents. Build and maintain strong relationships with current residents.

Respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly. Assist with lease renewals, rent increases, notices, and other resident correspondence. Maintain accurate resident files, leasing records, and property information. Communicate maintenance requests and property concerns to the appropriate team members. Assist with property inspections and help make sure available homes are ready to show. Work closely with the Property Manager and ownership to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Help ensure company policies and applicable landlord-tenant and fair housing requirements are followed. Pitch in where needed. As a small company, we work as a team and occasionally help one another with responsibilities outside our normal day-to-day duties.

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, hospitality, sales, or customer service is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with a wide variety of people. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on commitments. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and web-based software. Property management software experience is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn applicable leasing, Fair Housing, and landlord-tenant requirements. Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
