NM Residential is seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations at University Studios in Cleveland, Ohio.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing occupancy rates, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full leasing process from marketing to application processing
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract prospective residents
  • Conduct market surveys and adjust leasing strategies to remain competitive
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve resident inquiries
  • Follow up with renewals and prospects to close leases and promote retention
  • Plan and coordinate resident events to build engagement and satisfaction
  • Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
  • Maintain confidential resident records and applicant documentation
  • Handle administrative duties such as answering calls, processing maintenance requests, and managing rent payments
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure apartments are ready for showings and move-ins
  • Schedule and manage move-ins/move-outs and inspect vacant units
  • Prepare welcome packages for new residents
  • Attend property staff meetings and complete assigned tasks
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience:

    Prior property leasing or management experience required; student housing experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong leasing, marketing, and sales knowledge
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and compliance
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
