Role Description

The Leasing Manager (Licensed) is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing the leasing process and supporting efficient property operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing lease inquiries, conducting showings, coordinating applications, and ensuring accurate lease documentation and compliance. This role also involves monitoring market trends, recommending pricing and promotional strategies, and supporting resident retention through responsive communication and timely resolution of leasing-related concerns.

The Leasing Manager will collaborate with property management and operations teams to maintain occupancy targets, provide exceptional service to prospective and current residents, and uphold Rent Wise’s standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications
  • Ability to manage and interpret Leases and Lease Administration tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining accurate lease records. (approximately 40 - 60 leases per year)
  • Ability to complete annual inspections and provide relevant feedback and analysis. (approximately 15 - 20 inspections per month)
  • Skills in Market Research to analyze rental trends, competitive properties, and pricing strategies that support portfolio performance.
  • Experience in Property Management and Resident Retention to support tenant satisfaction, renewals, and stable occupancy levels.
  • Active real estate license in relevant jurisdiction, with familiarity in fair housing laws and local leasing regulations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents in a remote environment.
  • Comfort with property management and CRM software, digital marketing tools, and virtual showing platforms.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple properties, leads, and deadlines in a part-time schedule.
  • Prior experience in residential leasing, multifamily housing, or real estate operations is preferred.
