We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager who will support the Property Manager in the efficient operation of a senior affordable housing community. This position will assist with daily administrative and property management activities, resident services, leasing, rent collections, and compliance with affordable housing requirements.

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring the community runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with leasing activities, including showing available units, processing applications, and completing required documentation.
• Support rent collection efforts, monitor delinquencies, and assist with enforcing lease requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential resident files, records, and property documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders and resident maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
• Assist with resident communication, notices, and community activities.
• Prepare reports and assist with tracking occupancy, collections, and other property performance information.
• Assist the Property Manager with administrative, financial, and operational responsibilities.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations and company policies.
• Support compliance with affordable housing programs, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8, as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the community.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of general office, customer service, sales, marketing, or property management experience.
• Previous affordable housing or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and/or Section 8 programs preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior residents, team members, vendors, and community partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn property management software.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
