Are you an experienced property management or leasing professional who enjoys building relationships, creating welcoming communities, and helping people find a place to call home? Vintage Housing is seeking a motivated, service-focused Property Manager & Leasing Agent to join our team!

This unique position offers variety and the opportunity to make an impact across our affordable housing portfolio. The Property Manager & Leasing Agent is responsible for managing the daily operations of one assigned affordable housing community while also serving as a leasing specialist for the remaining Vintage Housing properties.

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday. Approximately 20 hours per week will be dedicated to property management, with the remaining 20 hours focused on leasing, marketing, applicant processing, and occupancy efforts across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, relationship-oriented, and comfortable balancing resident needs, regulatory requirements, property operations, and leasing goals.

The following represents the primary responsibilities of this position but is not intended to be all-inclusive.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of one assigned Vintage Housing property.
  • Build positive relationships with residents while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Coordinate lease renewals.
  • Perform regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
  • Submit, monitor, and follow up on maintenance work orders.
  • Help maintain the curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of the property.
  • Address resident questions and concerns and resolve issues professionally.
  • Enforce lease provisions and community policies consistently.
  • Coordinate resident communications and community activities.
  • Assist with rent collection and delinquency follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate resident files and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other applicable affordable housing regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff regarding apartment turns, preventive maintenance, and building repairs.
  • Monitor vacant units and ensure they are ready for occupancy.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as requested.
  • Participate in required property inspections and audits.
LEASING
  • Serve as the primary leasing resource for all Vintage Housing properties.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries received by phone, email, or in person.
  • Maintain accurate prospective resident waiting lists.
  • Schedule and conduct apartment tours.
  • Help prospective residents understand community amenities, rental qualifications, and affordable housing requirements.
  • Process rental applications and verify required applicant documentation.
  • Coordinate applicant screening and eligibility reviews.
  • Work closely with Property Managers to identify current and upcoming vacancies.
  • Market available apartments through approved advertising methods.
  • Maintain current and accurate listings on applicable housing websites.
