Position Summary
:
In accordance with Wallick Mission and Values, the Vice President, Closing and Real Estate Management will oversee the Closing and Real Estate Management Department and provide strategic guidance related to acquisitions, dispositions, financing structure of transactions, entity governance, management agreements, and corporate risk management.

The Vice President will work closely with the team and external legal counsel to support all phases of the real estate lifecycle, from contract execution and due diligence through closing, ownership operations, and disposition. The position ensures compliance, mitigates risk, protects company interests, and supports the achievement of strategic business objectives.

• a Bachelor degree plus 5 years of previous experience in Real Estate closings and preparation or 10+ years of equivalent experience
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school preferred, but not required
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, entity formation, and complex contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and ownership structures.
• Understanding of affordable housing programs, senior living operations, and related regulatory frameworks preferred.
• Ability to identify legal risks while providing practical business-oriented solutions.
• Excellent contract negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
• High degree of professional judgment, integrity, and discretion.
