Location New York, United States## About This Role Step Stone  Group is recruiting a senior Principal to join its Manager Research team covering discretionary and advisory client relationships in real estate. This executive-level role requires deep expertise in real estate portfolio construction and manager due diligence, with 15+ years of real estate investment experience required.

The Principal will oversee client coverage management with a focus on portfolio construction expertise, new business development, team building and mentoring, and ongoing fund manager monitoring. The position requires proficiency with top-down portfolio construction, strong client communication abilities, and expertise in proprietary analytical tools.

Ideal candidates hold relevant professional credentials including CFA, MBA, CPA, or CAIA, combined with extensive experience in real estate private equity investing or institutional real estate portfolio management. The role involves working with institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, and family offices seeking bespoke real estate investment solutions.
