DescriptionThe Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a part-time Research Assistant to support the Center for Social Medicine and Humanities Department. You will support research projected focused on poverty, social inequality, incarceration, substance use, harm reduction, and overdose/infectious disease prevention and treatment month structurally vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and organize qualitative research data, interviews, field notes, and research databases
- Support coding, analysis, transcription review, and literature searches
- Maintain archival records, research files, and audiovisual data systems
- Assist with grant reporting, manuscript preparation, editing, and formatting
- Coordinate administrative and project-related activities, including scheduling, communications, and tracking project progress
- Support collaboration across multiple research sites and partner organizations
- Provide general research and administrative support for ongoing projects
Salary range: 30.12/hr - $35.92/hr
