Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the laboratory support team, contributing to essential testing and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

WURTLAND, KY

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential for increased pay and advancement into a supervisory role once hired on permanently.

What's the Job?

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Record and document test results following established protocols
• Assist in preparing samples and reagents for testing procedures
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Ability to quickly learn new systems; fast learner and adaptable
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Functional computer literacy, with at least foundational knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
