Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) seeks a HTS Research Scientist to lead the design, development, and commissioning of a reel-to-reel coated conductor inspection system for high-field HTS tapes. The role focuses on in-field, low-temperature Ic measurements with a high-resolution Hall sensor array in a cryogen-free cooling system.
The successful candidate will mature a compact scanning system, understand defect distributions, and contribute to national HTS tape standards and fusion S&T
