Laboratory Technician
This position is located at the IMCD Lab in Exton, Pennsylvania. Applicants must be able to be on‑site, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m-5 p.m. (or as business needs require).

The Laboratory Technician supports the day-to-day operations of the laboratory by maintaining equipment, materials, and facilities in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role assists with technical projects, product evaluations, laboratory demonstrations, and training activities while ensuring an organized, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment.
Essential Job Functions- Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform laboratory testing, evaluations, and studies in accordance with established procedures and approved methodologies.
- Support customer, supplier, and internal laboratory projects under the direction of laboratory leadership.
- Document, analyze, and communicate test results and other laboratory findings accurately and timely.
- Assist with laboratory training sessions, demonstrations, technical workshops, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support product development, application testing, and technical evaluation activities related to customer and business needs.
- Coordinate laboratory inventory and procure approved consumables, supplies, and materials as needed.
- Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards to support a safe and productive work environment.
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline; equivalent laboratory experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five years of laboratory experience in an industrial, commercial, research, or quality environment.
- Experience conducting laboratory testing, maintaining records, and supporting technical projects.
- Strong laboratory practices and safety awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory data management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
