Jefo is currently seeking a Technical Specialist – Poultry & Swine, Southeast Asia

Location: Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines or Thailand)

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provide technical expertise and support to Jefo’s Poultry & Swine business, contributing to sales growth, customer satisfaction, and product innovation through research, training, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Technical Support & Customer Engagement

• Support Jefo and partner Sales Teams through online meetings, trade shows, conferences, and customer visits.
• Deliver technical trainings to Jefo teams, distributors, and customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for internal, commercial, and scientific audiences.
• Gather field insights and market trends to support product positioning and new solution development.

2. Scientific Communication & Marketing Support

• Develop, review, and update technical and scientific materials (publications, abstracts, technical papers, research reports, presentations, and marketing content).
• Support the Marketing team in creating tools and campaigns for new product launches.
• Represent Jefo at international events, trade shows, and scientific conferences.

3. Research & Product Development

• Coordinate and conduct research projects with universities, research centers, and commercial partners.
• Design protocols, analyze trial results, and present findings to customers in collaboration with Sales Teams.
• Contribute to competitive product analysis and product innovation initiatives in collaboration with R&D.
• Develop and implement specialized technical services and tools focused on nutrition and intestinal health solutions.

4. Partnerships & Networking

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with universities, laboratories, research institutes, and industry leaders.
• Identify and establish new scientific and technical collaborations.

5. General & Administrative

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide regular updates to the immediate manager on activities, achievements, and challenges.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• DVM and/or Ph.D. in poultry and/or swine health, nutrition, or related field.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Strong knowledge of poultry and swine health and/or nutrition.
• Experience in research methodology (protocol design, experimental analysis, statistics, and scientific communication).
• Database management and data analysis proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.

• Flexible schedule and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to building recognition within the Poultry & Swine industry.
