We are seeking a highly competent clinical research coordinator who is detail‑oriented, personable, organized, and reliable to help build our research department.

Clinical research coordinator

Colorado MS Center is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Research Coordinator to support our growing clinical research program.

This is an opportunity to work directly with a physician-investigator in a small, collaborative specialty practice and participate in both industry-sponsored clinical research and investigator-initiated research.

The Role

The Research Coordinator will primarily support our Phase IV TG Enable clinical study, while also assisting with our investigator-initiated ibogaine research program.

We are looking for someone who enjoys clinical research, is highly organized, can work independently, and is comfortable taking ownership of projects and keeping multiple research activities moving forward.

This is a part-time position, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as our research program expands.

Responsibilities Phase IV TG Enable Study
  • Coordinate day-to-day study activities in accordance with the study protocol and applicable research requirements
  • Coordinate participant visits and study-related activities
  • Maintain accurate and complete study documentation
  • Enter and maintain study data
  • Communicate with the study sponsor/CRO and research team as appropriate
  • Assist with regulatory and study documentation
  • Maintain study files and ensure required documentation is current
  • Prepare for and assist with monitoring visits and other study-related activities
  • Track study timelines, requirements, and follow-up activities
  • Enroll new patients into study
Investigator-Initiated Ibogaine Research
  • Assist with ongoing and developing investigator-initiated research projects including case reports, a survey study, and a prospective study of ibogaine and MS
  • Support research planning, organization, and implementation
  • Assist with literature reviews and research documentation
  • Help organize research data and study materials
  • Help with grant writing and looking for alternative sources of funding
  • Assist with IRB and regulatory documentation as appropriate
  • Coordinate research-related activities and maintain project timelines
  • Work closely with the physician-investigator and other members of the research team
Qualifications Required
  • Previous experience in clinical research, research coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately
Preferred
  • Experience coordinating clinical trials
  • Familiarity with GCP and human-subject research requirements
  • Experience working with IRBs and/or regulatory documentation
  • Experience with industry-sponsored clinical trials
  • Experience with electronic clinical research databases
  • Experience with grant writing or finding other sources of funding
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Healthcare or clinical background

Experience with clinical research is important, but we are also interested in candidates who demonstrate strong organizational skills, initiative, and a genuine interest in research.
