Baker, Restaurant​/Food Service

At Markham & Fitz, we serve a variety of desserts that our Baker is responsible for preparing every week. The Baker is a key team member in maintaining Markham & Fitz quality across cafe products. The Baker will also work with the Production team to create confections on occasion.

Responsibilities include:

• Baking a variety of desserts to a high standard.
• Maintaining adequate stock of dry goods and desserts according to the flow of sales, as communicated by managers.
• Remaining vigilant of ingredient stocking needs, and informing managers of necessary supply needs on a reasonable timeline.
• Assisting cafe staff with maintaining adequate stock of supplies used in drinks and desserts.
• This position involves standing for multiple hours at a time, as well as the potential to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
