The prep chef is responsible for providing culinary support to the kitchen in the preparation and presentation

of all dishes. These responsibitlies include:

• Creating and completing daily prep lists
• Preparing menu items following recipes and yield guides
• Receiving and organizing deliveries
• Handling opening and closing duties
  
  Maintaining Dept of Health standards
• Communicating with Chef on Duty about any issues with product, supplies, equipment or facilities
• Participating in staff training opportunities to develop knowledge and skills

• The ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written direction
• The ability to perform basic math
• The ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis
• The ability to sit, bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive work for 6-8 hours a day
